Leah Russo, RN, BSN, HNB-BC – I have been a nurse for 20 years, specializing in cardiology. I have spent almost my entire career taking care of the human heart, from post surgical patients to emergency cardiac care to learning and managing the pathways and electrical impulses that are the foundation of the beating heart. After 15 years navigating the allopathic system, I decided to nurture my curiosity in other curative modalities by acquiring an academic certificate in cannabis nursing in addition to a board certification as a holistic nurse from the AHNCC. Born and raised outside of Boston, MA, I graduated from Northeastern University and set out to explore the country and the world. After many years of traveling, I feel so blessed (and honored) to call New Mexico home. I find peace and harness my creativity in activities such hiking/adventuring, photography, reading and beadwork. I am wholeheartedly inspired by this community and thrilled to be able to serve and give back through the Carnelian Center
